We are thrilled to unite donors, advocates, and supporters in Washington, D.C., for the Mississippi Center for Justice's (MCJ) annual signature reception, Mississippi on the Potomac. This event benefits MCJ's work to advance racial and economic justice. Join us on June 3 at The Observatory at America's Square as we honor Attorney Vanita Gupta, former U.S. Associate Attorney General and a longtime civil rights champion who has advanced voting rights, justice reform, and civil rights enforcement nationwide.

Our theme this year is TAKE A STAND, which celebrates the courage and conviction of people who refuse to remain silent in the face of injustice. Attorney Gupta is one of those who has stepped forward, defended what is right, and helped build a nation where everyone can live with dignity, safety, and opportunity.

We invite you to consider sponsoring this event through one of our sponsorship levels, which offers a meaningful way to support the work and help sustain MCJ’s efforts to advance racial and economic justice. Individual tickets are $250. If you are unable to attend but would still like to contribute, you can support the event by selecting the "Donate" option instead of "Sponsorships."

We would be honored to have you with us as we TAKE A STAND together and celebrate Attorney Vanita Gupta’s extraordinary leadership. Click here to learn more about Attorney Gupta's work and event details.

If you have questions or need additional information, please contact Tosha Taylor at ttaylor@mscenterforjustice.org or 601.709.0859.

To ensure inclusion on all printed sponsorship materials, please confirm your sponsorship by Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
